An all-new addition to the range of Lamborghini models in 2011, the Aventador takes place as the highest expression of the Murcielago Lamborghini passionate combination of design and extreme performance. Supercar is a lightweight two-seater coupe, V-12 powered, all-wheel-drive with luxury and speed in the front line.
The V-12 engine in the Aventador is a 700-horsepower, 6.5-liter unit that is exclusive to the car. This marks the fourth engine was built in-house at Lamborghini, and only two V-12 - the first is a 3.5-liter, Miura.
Exceptional performance: acceleration to 60 mph takes just 2.8 seconds, and top speed is 217 mph. Lamborghini Aventador claim is two generations ahead of the rest of the market on the basis of technological progress.

The body is the most radical elements of the Aventador, with a fighter jet design theme - such and extensive use of carbon fiber. Aventadors only 4,000 will be built on a model run, all in a stylish coupe body.
